Legal, accessibility & company details

Company identification, affiliate disclosure, terms of sale and consumer rights, and how this site addresses accessibility. Product certifications have their own page.

Last updated: 14 October 2026 Covers: Company · Terms · Accessibility

1. Company identification

The Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 require an online trader to publish its identity and a geographic address. The United States and Canada expect the same.

  • Trading name: dynattenik
  • Legal name: REPLACE_LEGAL_NAME
  • Registered address: REPLACE_ADDRESS
  • Company registration number: REPLACE_REG_NO REPLACE_JURISDICTION
  • VAT / GST number: REPLACE_VAT_NO
  • General contact: [email protected]

REPLACE_LEGAL_NAME, REPLACE_ADDRESS, REPLACE_REG_NO and REPLACE_VAT_NO must each be replaced before this page goes live. They are shown in this style so they cannot be missed.

2. Product certifications

The regulatory statements and markings for every market the DeStatiX-A9 is sold in are published together on the certifications page. Keeping them on one page means the United States, Canadian, European, British and Japanese statements sit side by side, each in the language its market requires, rather than being split between the English and the Japanese site.

That page also lists every authorisation held and explains how a market surveillance authority, importer or distributor can request the test reports and Declarations of Conformity.

3. Affiliate disclosure

In the United States, the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 C.F.R. Part 255) require a material connection between a seller and an endorser to be disclosed clearly and conspicuously, and close to the recommendation it relates to. The UK Committee of Advertising Practice requires the same through the CAP Code, enforced by the Advertising Standards Authority, and the Competition Bureau applies the same standard in Canada.

Some links from this site to Amazon are, or may become, affiliate links. If you buy through one, dynattenik may receive a commission. This does not change the price you pay.

“As an Amazon Associate we may earn from qualifying purchases.”

The same notice appears beside the buy buttons on the product page and in the footer of every page, so it is seen before the link is clicked rather than afterwards.

4. Terms of sale, warranty & consumer rights

Orders are placed with and fulfilled by Amazon, so Amazon's own terms and returns process apply to the transaction. Statutory rights are not affected by them.

United Kingdom

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose made known to the seller, and match their description. The short-term right to reject runs for 30 days. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, a consumer buying at a distance normally has 14 days to cancel and a further 14 days to send the goods back.

United States

Implied warranties arise under the Uniform Commercial Code in most states, and many states add their own implied warranty of merchantability. Any express warranty must be stated in writing; the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act governs how it is written and labelled.

Canada

Sale of goods legislation in each province supplies conditions as to quality and fitness, and the Competition Act prohibits materially false or misleading representations about a product.

5. Accessibility

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That is the standard referenced by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and the one courts and regulators in all three markets treat as the benchmark:

  • United States — the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Section 508 where public bodies are involved.
  • United Kingdom — the Equality Act 2010 duty to make reasonable adjustments, and the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 for public bodies.
  • Canada — the Accessible Canada Act for federally regulated organisations, the Ontario Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and the equivalent acts in Manitoba, Nova Scotia and British Columbia.

What this site does

  • A "Skip to content" link is the first item in the tab order on every page.
  • Every page has one <h1> and a heading order that does not skip levels.
  • Body, heading and link text meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 contrast threshold; large text meets 3:1.
  • Every image carries alternative text; decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Controls are reachable and operable by keyboard, and the focus indicator is visible.
  • Animation and scrolling effects are disabled when the visitor's system requests reduced motion.
  • Colour is never the only means of conveying information.
  • Text scales with the browser without loss of content.

Known limitations

Product photographs are not individually described in text beyond their alternative text, and the downloadable PDF documents have not been assessed against PDF/UA. If either blocks you, tell us and we will provide the content another way.

If you hit an accessibility barrier on this site, email [email protected] with the page address and what you were trying to do. We aim to respond within five working days and to fix what we can.

In the United Kingdom you may also contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service, or the Equality and Human Rights Commission. In the United States, the Department of Justice accepts complaints under the ADA. In Canada, the Canadian Human Rights Commission and the Ontario Human Rights Commission receive them.

6. Limitation of liability

This site and its documents are provided for information. We take care over their accuracy but do not promise they are complete, and we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on them, except for liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and, in the United Kingdom, the statutory rights in section 2 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Product documentation prevails over anything on this website in the event of a conflict.
